You all probably don't remember when *neofox drew my dear American Soul Reapers: Alexander the Great and Jazmin huh? Well I decided I wanted to go back and draw them again. With added backstory for anyone who actually reads my shit.
First off we have Alexander the Great, who is the actual Greek leader. So just like any great general in an army, Alexander is quite skilled with many different weapons. The tattoos on his left arm change into whatever weapon he needs most by simply putting a little bit of spirit energy into them. But like any great leader, he doesn't want to get his hands dirty, so he prefers to fight from afar with a bow and spirit arrows (much like a Quincy).
Next is Jazmin, the sort of Ichigo of the American Reapers in the sense that there's something special about her. Her problem is that she's stuck in a sort of half way point between living and dead. She has to concentrate sometimes to keep her body solid like the other Reapers, but more often than not she tends to fall through solid objects (like floors and walls and chairs). Her hair is almost constantly moving because it's the hardest thing for her to keep solid. Her weapon of choice is a bladed whip that she uses to either slit throats, or pull and enemy in close. She's an Irish immigrant from the early 1900s.
Next to her we have Odette. She's known as the Black Widow of the Reaper world. During her life, she was a mob boss's wife, and quite used to getting her hands dirty when her husband wasn't around. She has no problems with pulling her guns out and killing a few bitches. She keeps her guns strapped to her thighs under her dresses, which leaves her open to attack quite a bit while she goes for them.
Which leads us into her partner in crime, Jasper. His powers are almost strictly defensive. He has tattoos on his palms that spread out to form defensive walls while Odette goes for her guns. Not much is known about Jasper, he prefers not to talk. His unnatural eye color often freak people out, and it's a common rumor around the Reapers that he was born an albino and died his hair after he died. He has yet to confirm or deny this rumor.
Typical American Reaper attire consists of pinstripe suits or dresses, occasionally black lace, and fedoras. American Reapers are not held down by a code of honor, and will fight dirty, and quite a bit. Their organization is currently being run by mob boss Al Capone. Things sometimes seem to have a very steampunk-ish theme to them, but oddly very advanced.
